The race director, Revolution Racing Cycling team, and the many volunteers and sponsors, would like to thank everyone involved with this event for the past 9 years. The race will not occur in 2016. There are many reasons, and we are not sure what the future holds. It was a difficult decision, but one that ultimately had to be made. Check these sites for more info on our other races. As of now we plan to still put on the Big Bad Wolf. And we are currently seeking alternate events for upcoming years.
Special thanks goes out to Sheila Stamiris from the City of Frankenmuth and Linda Kelly from Zehnder's. These two amazing people made this race possible and were integral to the success. Without them, their organizations, and their staff, it wouldn't have been one of the most successful races in Michigan history.
More thanks to long time race organizers and volunteers Steve Weckle and Paul Rytlewski, and many of the long term volunteers who gave countless hours toward the event. These guys and many others deserve the best for their roles and contributions. The list of volunteers goes on, and there is only so much time to thank you all. So, THANK YOU!
Due to construction projects in downtown Grand Rapids, the Herman Miller Brickyard Criterium will be taking a year off in 2016. Herman Miller has graciously shifted it's focus to the MSU Gran Fondo and has become the main sponsor. Please join us and support the MSU Gran Fondo on Saturday, June 25, 2016.
